When is it "pick-perfect"?

Herbs are best harvested just before they flower, typically in the morning when their essential oils are most potent. Harvesting regularly encourages new growth and keeps the plants productive.

How to Harvest:

  • Use scissors or pinch off stems just above a pair of leaves to promote bushier growth.

  • Wash gently and pat dry before use.

Storage:

  • Fresh herbs can be stored for a few days in a glass of water at room temperature, like a bouquet of flowers.

  • For longer storage, wrap herbs in a damp paper towel and place in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. Use within 1-2 weeks for best flavor.

  • Alternatively, freeze herbs in ice cube trays with water or olive oil for later use.
