When is it "pick-perfect"?
Swiss chard leaves are ready to harvest when they are young and tender, usually about 6-8 inches tall. Avoid harvesting older leaves that may become tough and bitter.

How to Harvest:
-
Grasp the base of the leaf near the soil.
-
Use your other hand to gently pull the leaf upwards, separating it from the main stem.
-
Harvest outer leaves first, allowing inner leaves to continue growing.
Storage:
-
Trim leaves with a knife or tear with hands, depending on leaf size and tenderness.
-
Store Swiss chard in the refrigerator for up to a week in a plastic bag to maintain freshness.
